Financial Analysis Fiscal Year 2022
Report Data: 2022
What's In This Report
An annual report on the financial health of Pennsylvania hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. A high-quality, cost-effective health care delivery system requires financially healthy hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and health systems. Since fiscal year 1989, the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) has produced a series of financial reports measuring the financial condition and utilization of the Commonwealth’s hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and health systems.
The Financial Analysis report is released in a three-part series. Volume One presents a financial profile of Pennsylvania’s general acute care (GAC) hospitals. Volume Two provides financial information about ambulatory surgery centers, and Volume Three addresses rehabilitation hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, psychiatric hospitals and specialty hospitals (non-GAC hospitals).
